Preeti Aroon Preeti Aroon is an assistant editor at FP, which she joined in January 2007. She holds a master's degree in public policy from Duke University, where she was an opinion columnist and editorial page associate for The Chronicle, the university's student-run newspaper. A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Ms. Aroon was previously a copy editor and contributing columnist for the Lexington Herald-Leader, and she holds bachelor's degrees in Spanish and chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky.

Elizabeth Dickinson Elizabeth Dickinson is an assistant editor. Prior to joining FP, Elizabeth was stationed in West Africa, working as the Nigeria correspondent for The Economist. She has held previous internships with the Wall Street Journal Europe in Brussels and the New York Times' West African bureau in Dakar. In addition, her writing has appeared in IRIN News, AllAfrica.com, the International Herald Tribune, Newsweek International, and the Mail and Guardian. An avid runner and violinist, Elizabeth holds a B.A. in African and International Studies from Yale University.

Rebecca Frankel Rebecca Frankel is an associate editor at FP. She was previously managing editor of Moment Magazine, a publication founded by Elie Wiesel in 1975. A native of West Hartford, Connecticut, she is a graduate of American University and holds a bachelor's degree in literature.

Blake Hounshell Blake Hounshell is managing editor at FP, having formerly been Web editor before February 2009. He arrived in Washington in 2006 after more than
a year in Cairo, where he studied Arabic, missed his Steelers finally win one for the
thumb, and worked for the Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies. Blake oversees
Passport and commissions articles for ForeignPolicy.com. A graduate of Yale University
with a degree in political science, his interests include Middle East politics, the
impact of energy use on the environment, international trade, and the digital economy.
He frequently appears on various radio programs.

Joshua Keating Joshua Keating is deputy Web editor at FP and editor of Passport. He
first joined the staff as an editorial intern in August 2007. A native of Brooklyn,
New York, he graduated from Oberlin College, where he majored in comparative politics
and edited the Oberlin Review. He has written and reported for Newsweek International,
the Center for Defense Information, Radio Prague, Romania’s Adevarul newspaper, and the
Jersey Journal.

Moisés Naím Moisés Naím is editor of FOREIGN POLICY.
He has written extensively on the political economy of international trade and
investment, multilateral organizations, economic reforms, and globalization. He
is the author or editor of eight books, numerous essays, professional articles
and his opinion columns are regularly published in the world’s leading newspapers.
Dr. Naím served as Venezuela’s minister of trade and industry
and played a central role in the initial launching of major economic reforms
in the early 1990s. Prior to his ministerial position, he was professor and
dean at Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración, in Caracas.
He was also the director of the projects on economic reforms and on Latin America
at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Dr. Naím was associated
with the World Bank on two occasions, first as an executive director and later
as a senior advisor to the president.
Dr. Naím holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.

Amer Yaqub
Amer joined FP as publisher on Dec. 1, 2008. Previously,
he was director of international advertising at the Washington Post.
Amer also worked in a variety of marketing and sales positions at AT&T,
Quaker Oats and ConAgra. He has been profiled in Fortune magazine, Voice of America,
and Russia Today and was a guest speaker on marketing trends at
George Mason University and Columbia Business School.
Amer has an MBA from Columbia University and a B.S. in economics from Carnegie Mellon.
