A demonstrator holds a placard during a rally in front of the Interior Ministry in Tunis on Jan. 14, to demand President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali's resignation. Ben Ali stepped down Jan. 14 after 23 years in power and fled the North African state as the authorities declared a state of emergency following deadly protests. Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi announced on state television that he had taken over as interim president, after a day of violent clashes between rock-throwing protesters and riot police in the streets of central Tunis.

Timeliness
Why are FP and all the MSM so far behind in keeping up with the situation in Tunisia? What outside governments and what agencies are moving in to try to fill the vacuum? Does no one have knowledgeable, competent reporters on the scene?

A real revolution
The whole revolution is the result of the growing anger of thousands of university graduates from the governmant because of unemployment ,homelesness and poverty .tunisia is not a poor country but the fact that a minority belonging to the family of the president is stealing millions of dollars every day put the people in a very hard sitation .Congratulations for all Tunisian
