For decades, Muammar al-Qaddafi was perhaps the world's most notorious arms smuggler, providing weapons to all sorts of revolutionaries, rebels, and terrorists across the Middle East and Europe. He founded training camps for terrorists and even a school of higher learning for would-be tyrants. His regime bought arms from the Soviet Union and Eastern bloc countries, but from Libya they went nearly everywhere: He armed the Polisario in the Western Sahara, the Irish Republican Army, numerous Palestinian terrorists, Italy's Red Brigades, Spain's Basque separatists, Nicaragua's Sandinistas, and the list goes on and on.
In this remarkable series of photographs, a group of seven men pose on what appears to be a small cargo ship. The hold appears to contain sacks of grain, but later it's revealed that these are merely a cover for what appears to be a weapons shipment. Foreign Policy invites readers to help us identify these individuals and shed light on any clues about the cargo, markings, or location that might help to ascertain just exactly whom Qaddafi was supplying with arms.

Tip of the iceburg
Makes me wonder how many more things will turn up once all of the Gaddafi files are purged through. I am sure he was in more illegal activities than we would like to know. This man was in power for 40+ years and there had to have been 20-30 activities per year....we will be here a while identifying people from these activities for a while. I am sure he slept under a silk comforter and the best tv stand, living in the lap of luxury and keeping his citizens in poverty. Talk about unfair and he got what he deserved and had coming for a long time. No longer will he or hopefully any dictator have the power that he had over a nation. best workout music, now it is time for the people of Libya to live a free and enjoyable life, which they have long deserved to have.

A mystery
Qaddafi's group is still a mystery. When will we possible know everything about Qaddafi? I was checking earlier for small portable printers for laptops when I heard some news about Qaddafi. I hope Libya will now be at peace.
