Over 40,000 people have been killed in the Mexican Civil War in just 5 years and it will get worse after Calderon steps down in 2012. The catastrophic collapse of Mexico or the surrender of the entire northern half of Mexico is a very real possibility that the US and the world need to be prepared for.
