When Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday, March 5, for the ninth time since Obama assumed office, he should feel right at home. The head of Israel's conservative Likud party attended high school and college in the United States and has visited the White House numerous times. In fact, Obama has met with Netanyahu more than with any other world leader.

From his early days as a soldier in the Israeli special forces to his stint as the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations in New York to his two terms as Israeli prime minister, Netanyahu -- often called by his nickname, Bibi -- has left a permanent mark on both Israeli and U.S. politics.
