Elias Groll is an editorial assistant at Foreign Policy. A native of Stockholm, Sweden, he received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University, where he was the managing editor of The Harvard Crimson and wrote his honors thesis on the contemporary radical right in Europe. He has previously written for Politico and The Orange County Register. He speaks Swedish and Spanish.
