What to read on Gaza

I'll be posting on the situation on Gaza over the next couple of days, but if you've figured out that mainstream coverage in the United States isn't telling you everything and want to broaden your perspective, you might take a look at the following:

Mondoweiss (lots of interesting commentary and additional links).

Tony Karon (smart and angry background by a TIME correspondent).

Nir Rosen (dissecting the power politics that underpins the conflict).

Daniel Levy (especially his piece on why Americans should care about what is happening in Gaza).

Glenn Greenwald (on the gap between American public opinion and the policy of the U.S. government).

Reading the Financial Times, BBC News, and Ha'aretz is also a useful antidote to the coverage we've been getting over here.
