Dictatorship, war, looting -- none of it can stop the twice-weekly horse races that are Baghdad’s best show in town.

And they’re off! With the security situation improving in Iraq, crowds are swelling for the twice-weekly races at the Baghdad Equestrian Club, located in a tough Sunni area of the city.
